Interactive goods display in PostShops

Schweizerische Post are using interactive goods displays for mobile telephones in their PostShops. This means that post offices are positioning innovation where customers can experience it. The interactive goods display is aimed at presenting the wide range of mobile telephones, the combinations offered by the providers and their price plans in a transparent way.

Implementation

  • Interactive goods display: 22-inch multitouch screen and 21 mobile telephones
  • 80 PostShops were equipped with the interactive goods display by the end of November 2012
  • All the devices are equipped with the screenFOOD® VRS (Visual Retail Security) system
  • Different access points to the individual components for easier maintenance
  • Contents displayed are processed automatically by means of deep integration of sources, e.g. SAP
  • Customer use is recorded statically by the screenFOOD® software
  • Location-based success measurement by means of comparative evaluation with sales figures at the tills
  • Daily, automatic update of the mobile telephone data is guaranteed with screenFOOD® DATAPIPE
